About Your Hosts

Welcome to 828 Bear Creek Rentals, where your hosts are dedicated to providing an exceptional vacation experience in the beautiful Western NC Mountains. Their journey began with remodeling their first vacation rental, driven by a desire to share the stunning Asheville landscape and warm, welcoming atmosphere. 

Heidi and Ricky Coates have worked alongside each other for nearly 21 years. Heidi Coates has been a local Realtor in the Asheville area since 1991, and, her husband, Ricky has been running a successful turnkey construction business since 1993. They are the proud parents of two AWESOME teenage daughters. Heidi is also a CrossFit enthusiast with a passion for travel, especially to Key West and other exciting destinations.

Now, they continue to create inviting spaces where guests can relax, explore, and create lasting memories.
